A Challenge, Homosexuality
| I do not want this debate to be on an individual, moral level. In this debate, I want it to be on a lawful, state/country level. In U.S law, we have certain rules about "seperation of Church and State", meaning you cannot allow a group or individual's religious belief affect laws which will in turn affect everyone. Of course, laws are based off mass moral opinion (or ethics), but you cannot directly quote the bible for these morals. You must back yourself up with fact and reasoning as to why the law should be in place. Keeping this in mind, I present the challenge: Someone give me one good, non religious reason as to why gays and homosexuals should be treated any differently than others, marriage or otherwise. | |
